Produced an episode for the Simons Foundation series showcasing Futures Ignite’s work, which empowers young people primarily through community and science projects. Through this initiative, students address issues like racial justice, educational equity and climate justice.

Produce and manage the annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. It is the longest running all-doc festival in the country, with nine full days of programming and more recently a regional film forum.

Produced the documentary Ozark Wabi (dir: Molly Wheat & Eliot Peterson). The film follows internationally-recognized potter Stephen Driver as he gathers ceramists from across Arkansas to participate in his annual firing of his anagram wood-kiln. Currently screening at festivals and receiving warm reviews.

Managed content for the International Rescue Committee’s informational justice project, Refugee.Info. The project relied heavily on user-generated communication and reporting.

Produced articles, live chats and videos in multiple languages and across several platforms. Covered changing immigration laws, healthcare, social services and local information for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers coming into Europe.

Produced this short directed/produced by Ebony Underwood of WeGotUsNow. First released by Mic and shared widely by individuals and organizations working in criminal justice reform, including Van Jones, Cut50 and DreamCorps.

Update: Since the release of this video several of the participants in this project have since reunited with their parents, yet many of these families remain separated by incarceration.

Teens were asked to share their own stories (aspects of their choosing) however they felt comfortable doing so — video, writing, art or photography.

The short was featured on Where Love Is Illegal which shares LGBTIQ stories of discrimination and survival from around the world. Premiered at Outfest Fusion Film Festival. Official selection at Toronto’s Inside Out, Dance On Camera in NYC and the San Francisco Dance Festival.

A group of 60 8th-graders documented their interaction with the environment around their school and homes and held a photography showcase for the local community.
